First Quality is committed to raising the quality of a product to raise the quality of its customers' lives. The company started in 1989 with one focus—healthcare—and the company opened a plant to manufacture adult incontinence products in McElhattan, PA. In 1993, First Quality expanded with a store brand partnership involving the manufacturing of tampons. In 1999, FQ established Nutek disposables, broadining its reach in disposable categories including adult incontinence, wash cloths and baby wipes. In 2008, the company expanded its retail capabiltieis with the acquisition of private label diaper maker Covidien with production sites in King of Prussia, PA and Macon, GA. Today the company mamakeskdes baby diapers, training pants, baby wipes and youth pants in its baby care business, panty liners, maxi pads and tampons in its feminine care business as well as a full range of adult incontinence items. These products are mainly sold as store brands through partnerships with some of the world's largest retailers.
